BBQ Slogan Contest and Giveaway!

By Kevin Sandridge

UPDATE! We have 2 Winners!

August 10, 2016

OK, so it’s time to choose the winners for each of the two $100 Whiskey Bent BBQ gift cards! And they are…

  1. Artust, with “BBQ. Cos nobody wins friends with a salad”
  2. Pete Knight with “Feed a man BBQ and he will eat for a day… Teach a man to BBQ and he’ll spend thousands of dollars and drink whiskey every weekend…”

Thanks to everyone for offering up your suggestions! I’ll get in touch with each of the winners individually regarding your gift cards.  NOTE: There’s been a hold up on shirts, but the gift cards are en route! In lieu of the slogan shirts, I’m sending Whiskey Bent BBQ T-Shirts!

BBQ Slogan Contest and Giveaway!

It’s time for a contest, and this one will earn two lucky entrants a $100 Whiskey Bent BBQ Supply gift card as well as a free t-shirt! Here’s what I’m doing.

Everyone has one or even a few favorite BBQ slogans. Well, I’m asking you to share your favorites here so that I can collect some of the best and make them available as potential t-shirt designs.

GOT BBQ Slogans-

These shirts may eventually be available from BBQBeat.com, so all the submissions gathered from you here come with the understanding that the purpose is for me to use them this way. I’m always up front, so here’s me being just that.

What Do You Get Out of It?

One – you get a chance to offer your wit and cleverness to the BBQ Beat community! Two – and let’s face it – the better end of this deal – you get a chance to win one (1) of two (2) $100 Whiskey Bent BBQ Supply gift cards redeemable at WhiskeyBentBBQSupply.com!

These guys have a wide assortment of competition BBQ and grilling tools, rubs, and sauces guaranteed to up your game at home or on the competition BBQ circuit. I’ve known Chad for many years, and if it’s in his store – it’s good stuff. Guaranteed.

Contest Rules…

It’s pretty straight forward. Simply add your slogan (1 slogan per entry, please) in a comment below. You may enter as many times as you wish. I will then select two of the best slogans entered as winners of one of the gift cards.

In addition, each winner will receive a t-shirt designed and made available in a size of their choosing up to size 3XL.

The contest cut off date is August 1st.

I look forward to what you guys and gals come up with! And thanks so much for being part of the BBQ Beat Community!
